Always looking for authentic Mexican tacos, it is not a easy as it seems bit today found my favorite!.
This place looks shaky from the outside but that is your best chance to find real tacos.
Had 3 Pastor and 2 Carnitas with a refillable soda for $9 50. The meat is prepared perfectly with no fat on the meat while crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. Double corn tortillas with a excellent salsa bar. These are the real deal.
What completes the 5 Star review is the staff,  what a great group of smiling, happy, and kind people. They know how to treat the customers and as a first time visitor they made me feel like a long time customer.
They have about 10 or tables inside and some outside.  Make sure you give this place a try.

Tacos were flavorful. We tried al pastor, carne asada, tripas, chorizo, and buche. They were all good. The salsa was nice and spicy. Horchata was  refreshing... no wonder the place was packed, good thing they have a large parking lot!

Came to Disneyland and will always stop here to have their food when down in this area, always! Coming from down south San Diego area. Carnitas are on point. Just had their menudo and the balance of the flavor profiles are on point.

    Okay...I know you're thinking why tf would I give a hole-in-the-Wall taco joint a 4 review?
    Why?
Because they run this little spot like clockwork! I mean it was a machine.
The place has a few tables.
Don't watch the guy prepping the food if your weird about hand contact with your door. It's best if you order then wait outside.
    There are no gloves here!!
    YAY!! It's authentic!
You don't see the guy grabbing at his face, hair or nose - so relax.
The quesadillas look AMAZEBALLS!!! They actually MELT & TOAST the cheese on the griddle then top the tortilla and flip it and fill it!
My FAVORITE toasted/melted cheese is the one that gets crisp w direct griddle heat! It's crispy and unctuous. YUMM!!!
The have a cool set-up and it works well.
The salsa bar is a bit more of a challenge as it's not situated properly.
If I were the owners I would figure out an easier way to route the order line and then set the sales bar in the opposite area.
The salsas are tasty. The hot is HOT!
I had Al Pastor, Assad, and Buche Tacos.
    All really good.
This is a cash place so be aware before you get here.
I'm sure there's an ATM somewhere close - this is a shopping center.
Come out and grub at El Guerro!
Let me know what you decided on and what you thought.

Only if this place was closer to home. Lol. Yep, I like this place, even though it's a hole in the wall. The food came out quite fast, probably after five minutes. My Al Pastor and Carne Asada tacos was delicious! Very liberal proportions of meat served. The tacos was flavorful and served hot. They have a service table that's steaming hot. The food has been premade and kept fresh. I think their food turn is quite fast as there's quite a bit of people ordering to go, along with the few including myself eating inside. The person preparing the orders I saw was busy and kept hearing the chopping sound. Yes, he was chopping the meat to restock the service table. That leads me to believe the food is fresh and not kept too long.

Tacos El Guero seems to have been around for quite awhile just by looking around. It seemed a bit run, but well kept. But there was plenty of people working in the front and back.

The funny thing was I felt eyes glaring at me when we walked in. Maybe everybody were regulars except us? Lol. Anyhow, it was non-threatening, so everything was good.

Yes, tasty food at a reasonable price is what I like. Parking was a bit tough as the lot was filled. But, sure... I'll be back soon to satisfy my Spanish taste palate.
